1. Introduction

TattooQueue, a product of EchosOfMe LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web application and services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, password (encrypted), and studio name. If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID information as permitted by your Apple account settings.

Studio & Artist Data

Studio owners provide studio details, artist profiles (names, specialties, availability), and custom waiver content. Artists provide their style preferences and profile information.

Client Queue Data

When clients join a queue, we collect their name, phone number (for SMS notifications), and tattoo preferences (style, placement, size, color preference). If digital waivers are enabled, we collect waiver responses and electronic signatures.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate TattooQueue:

  • Vercel: Application hosting
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple authentication (optional)

These providers have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.

5. SMS/Text Messaging

TattooQueue sends automated SMS text messages on behalf of tattoo studios to end users who explicitly opt in. By checking the SMS consent checkbox and providing your phone number on a studio's queue sign-up form or online booking form, you consent to receive automated, transactional SMS messages from TattooQueue on behalf of the participating studio.

How we collect your phone number: Your phone number is collected only after you actively check an unchecked SMS consent checkbox. The phone number input field does not appear until you opt in. Consent is never pre-checked. You are never required to consent to SMS messaging as a condition of service. For full details on our opt-in process with screenshots, see our SMS Consent & Opt-In Process page.

How we use your phone number: Your phone number is used solely to send transactional SMS messages including queue status updates (e.g., artist ready notifications, wait time estimates), appointment confirmations, appointment reminders (24-hour and 2-hour), and booking status changes. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.

Message frequency: Varies based on usage, typically 1–5 messages per visit or booking. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will not receive any further SMS messages. Reply HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Your mobile phone number, SMS consent, and opt-in data will never be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely for the purpose of sending the transactional messages described above.

For the full SMS terms, see Section 6 of our Terms of Service.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Queue entries are retained according to studio preferences. Waiver data is retained as required for legal compliance. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. This includes encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure authentication methods, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
